Biography

Avenue is Bulgarian pop duo, created in 1989. Before the release of their debut album in 1995 the band took part in various festivals and competitions where they won prizes from both the jury and the audience. During this period they participate as guests in numerous television and radio programs. Their album has huge commercial success by annual charts for sales of Bulgarian music. Both national TV and all television stations in the country show interest in the duo, which begins its massive broadcasting. Their songs took the first place in all radio charts in the country and became one of the biggest hits in Bulgaria. The audience is fascinated by the duo’s musical material and stage behavior. Some journalists define the band’s concerts as the event of the year on the Bulgarian music scene. The duo’s songs are on top of Bulgarian and foreign charts.
